It is no secret that the use of the internet and technology is only growing. My platform "Dueling Digital Dangers The Online Safety Guide" aims to promote internet safety and inform children and teens about the growing dangers associated with being online. Some of my major topics include... Identity Theft, Cyberbullying and Online Predators. 

 

I approach learning about internet safety in a new way. Instead of students listening to a boring presentation and absorbing very little, I have developed a kid-friendly approach that is engaging and allows participation throughout the process (and even gets the kids singing a little!) I also have a children's book in a presentation format that corresponds with my message.
